I love that it is a local run place and one of the few sushi restaurants in this particular area. It has a pleasant ambiance with friendly staff, you see them making sushi tight there, and they have some cool, traditional-looking booths, that actually you sit at a tables but looks like you’re on the floor. I didn’t get to sit there but would like to some day. Service is great because the tables and booths have a bell to ring to get their attention. That’s a nice touch. The sushi was average. Tuna lacking a little brightness, and rice a little dry, but still tasty. Their ginger is good; sweeter side vs hot side. The tempura was also very good. Great shrimp and perfectly cooked veggies.

Been going to this place more than 20 years because the fish quality is excellent. The service is fast and professional. The room is kind of old that should to be repainted. I went to many sushi places in the bay area but this place stands out among the crowd.

From the moment we walked in, the service at this Japanese restaurant was impeccable. The staff greeted us with a warm smile and were quick to seat us. The food was outstanding—each sushi roll was beautifully crafted, and the teriyaki salmon was cooked to perfection. The ambiance was peaceful, with a minimalist design that made us feel at ease. The low lighting and traditional touches, like bamboo screens and stone accents, truly elevated the experience. A must-visit for any sushi lover!

My husband and I ordered the Yuri special plate for two and added a fire crunch roll just in case if it wasn't enough for two people. When the food came out it was more than enough, we ended up taking some leftovers home. I recommend trying the Yuri plate for two if it's your first time and just want to try an assortment of food. However, the rolls were the highlight of our meal and we're definitely going back to try out the other rolls. A little pricey, but the generous portions do make up for it.
