This unassuming sushi spot in the Vons center at Torrance and Anza is incredible.. the quality and authenticity are off the charts. Their menu does not have the wild overly sauced extravaganza rolls you commonly see now in America.. this store has been there for a long time and they stuck to the more simple, traditional menu that relies on quality and balance rather than a ton of sweet eel sauce and mayo. The service is friendly and you can tell this is a long time neighborhood family run place that is much loved by the community. We will be back soon to try more of the menu.. also have ordered takeout and it was just as good and perfectly done. Eat in, take out.. just eat the food and be transported to a simple time when sushi was just taking off in America.. great ingredients and talented chef working with them makes this a must try.

fresh sushi and huge variety of different fish. I loved the snapper, salmon and scallops. Every fish I tried was really tasty and well prepared. The owners who are also the sushi chefs are really nice! They definitely know how to create traditional Japanese sushi and dishes. The vibe is fun and the place has character. So glad I tried this cool little sushi restaurant!

I was just here last night with my wife and we got to meet her friend who works here and also got to meet the owner and his wife at the restaurant. When you walk in you really feel like you're back in Japan (one of my favorite countries to visit by the way) and the vibe there is very chill, mellow, and fun... The good was great and the customer service was amazing. The eel was amazing along with the Tuna Roll (of course I had to have a cold beer to go with it 😋 🤣) and places like this is one of the reasons why I love eating sushi with a real taste of Japan atmosphere to go with it! I will definitely be back and thank you so much for the hospitality!!!
