Probably wouldnt come back. Food was mid at best. The vegetarian monster sushi dish had bland flavor. Spicy tonkatsu ramen was fine. The restaurant itsself was so dark - you need to turn on your phone light to see the menu.

the server brings the card reader to you when it's time to pay. After I enter the tip, they take the device away and process the payment out of sight, then bring back just the receipt. I'm certain I entered a tip of around $23-25, but it ended up being over $30. it's my fault not to check and claim at the restaurant 🥲 The food was really nice! but just double check your receipt..

The sushi here is generally decent and a good option for a neighborhood bite. During our visit, however, many items from the Special Nigiri menu (Amaebi, Chu-Toro, Otoro, Uni) were unavailable, and we ultimately opted for the Hotate and Sashimi Deluxe. While the quality was solid, nothing stood out as exceptional, though the tropical presentation of the sashimi was a nice touch.

Went there for a date night and had such delicious food! The food came out really fast, and the atmosphere was very romantic. I recommend adding this place to your “must try” list

Amore Sushi is awesome. The food came to our table super quick, which was greatly appreciated since we were pressed for time. The portion and flavors were so generous, and all the salad and miso soup tasted really good together. We also loved the ambiance and the attentive service, especially from our waitress. I'm always happy when they serve me water right away. If I were staying in Chicago a little longer, I’d definitely be going back!
