Authentic Japanese Sushi experience, which is hard to find in a smaller city like Des Moines (as opposed to Chicago and New York). 10/10 approved by my Asian friend 🧡 too The facility and dining experience is excellent too, gear lighting.

We loved our lunch here. The bento boxes are very generous portions! The sushi specialty rolls are worth the extra cost. I recommend going for one of the specials and trying some different things. Great with kids as well.

came here today with my bf for lunch a very small unauthentic sushi place with only 1 asian chef behind counters. we were greeted by a young hispanic lady who took a bit to deliver our water cups and waited a short 10 minutes for our food. my bf ordered the three rolls whereas i ordered the salmon combo sushi with an additional order of salmon roe and mackerel sushi. when the food came, they had sent out the wrong order of salmon roe into salmon roll which i was confused about because when ordering, i specifically pointed out “salmon roe” on the menu which she even described to me that “sushi is fish on top of rice” (ok? im ordering it because i know what that is?) so it made no sense to me why they’d mix up our order. The waiters had to go back to the kitchen to remake my actual order and deliver back to the table. nonetheless, the sushi taste was very mid despite the good reviews i saw which left me very disappointed. both me and my bf had a stomachache when we came home and suspected the sushi wasn’t fresh at all. I wish the waiters would focus more on paying attention to what customers order instead of gossiping about relationships :/ wouldn’t come back again

Super cute place! The sushi was decently priced and delicious, the crunchy 2 in 1 roll was my favorite. Even though it was very busy our food came out quickly and the waitress was very attentive. Will be back in the future.

I really enjoyed the rolls! Ninja roll, spicy tuna, dragon roll… can’t miss with those. Miso soup and crab Rangoon is on point. Reasonable price as sushi goes. Low key atmosphere, not super fancy. Very laid back.
