Listen I’m not one to leave reviews. It takes me having the most AMAZING experience to leave one. Alex and Ricardo really make this place unforgettable, the customer service atmosphere is on a whole other level because of these two. The sushi rolls they recommend and then prepare are nothing shy of EXTRAORDINARY. They put passion into it and you can taste it!! I’m not sure if I would have come back if it wasn’t for these two. This is the place to be if you’re looking for GREAT sushi and a good time in CLT!

This is one sushi restaurant you can not miss if you are visiting, let alone, living in Charlotte. I order a different dish every time I am never disappointed. All fresh ingredients and dishes are made to order on the spot. Nothing is pre-made or stored or precooked. I also tried the sake with plum wine cocktail, and I definitely recommend it.

Ru San‘s offers some of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I only wish I had tried more from their menu because everything looked incredible. If you’re a sushi lover, this place is a must-visit—you won’t be disappointed!

I was really excited to go here. But got disappointed. The wait wasn't long considering how packed they were. Our dumplings came to the table cold, and fried sushi was cold. The pork katsu was disappointing. Out waitress kept forgetting us and overall I did not have a good experience. Will try again, maybe during a weekday.

I had a great time here. The waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the California roll and the scorpion roll. Definitely enjoyed. Also ordered the shrimp fried rice and that was pretty good too. Almost buttery and full of veggies.
