My fiancé and I wanted to try a place we’ve never been to before, and we are so happy we chose Izakaya Jinsei. The atmosphere is simple, not pretentious at all, and I feel fits the area great. The staff was super nice, very helpful, and just all around a delight. I definitely recommend, and will be going back. The parking can be a little crazy, you might have to pay a meter, but you’ll be able definitely find parking even if it requires a little bit of a walk.

Got the sake donburi. The salmon was pretty fishy tasting, and barely gave you any seaweed salad or fish roe. Literally a pinch of them. The rice was decent, service was good, but food was lacking.

Locally owned/ Mom & Pop shop. Wonderful customer service and delicious food! Our waiter was super sweet and attentive. Waters frequently refilled, and wait time was not bad at all. Highly recommend this restaurant!

The atmosphere is really cool. I'm not the biggest sushi fan but the sushi I got was pretty good and they have other options on the menu as well

Food is delicious and the price is worthy. Salmon poke bowl is a must try, you won’t regret it. Also, chicken karaage was fried in the right temperature, crunchy and soft.
