    Have been a loyal customer for years. I’ve gotten to know Kristi and she is always so sweet and works extremely hard. This is a wonderful local spot to stop in to treat yourself or enjoy a special occasion with loved ones. The team here is so great and they always strive to make all customers happy and have the best experience possible. The sushi is always fantastic!! There is always consistency with quality. The warm dishes are also always consistent with quality and flavor. You won’t be disappointed

    A friend asked to meet there; I usually only eat sushi at Bamboo (I know!) but thought I'd give it a shot. It was lovely! I had the fish soup and my partner had the sizzling beef. My mom has sizzling veggies. I wish I hadn't been full at the end because I really wanted to try the foie gras 🤤 It's a great place if some of you want sushi and some want cooked food.

    I only tried a take out and i picked it up myself so it was freshly made. I had eel roll, Philadelphia and salmon nigiri and they were just fine. Nothing special. I didn’t like eel sauce either

    The sushi was absolutely fantastic! The baked lobster roll was delicious, and the nigiri was great (especially the surf clam, which more people need to see the light and try). Service was top-notch, and the vibe was nice. The music was kind of a Norah Jones/ acoustic remix of other great songs kind of vibe, which is literally what plays in my head. Overall, heavenly experience, wish I lived in Portland, hopefully be back one day 🙏

    Yama was a nice spot to grab some sushi after walking around the area. Each dish we got, including the sake, was definitely good however nothing was a standout for us particularly for the prices. Would come back if I was in the area craving sushi, but wouldn't go out of my way to return.
