The sushi is great, but here’s a tip for the kitchen. Crank that heat up a lot more when cooking the chicken and veggies to get something called the Maillard reaction. It helps caramelize the food and give it a nice color. Nobody wants their chicken to taste like it was boiled and their veggies to taste like they’re steamed.

Upon walking in we were greeted promptly and told to sit anywhere. Quickly met with drink requests. Starters brought in a timely manner versus the entree, I was very happy with the pacing. Clean up was also quick, never felt cramped at the table with plates. The food itself was great. Gyoza cooked to perfection with a very nice dipping sauce. I had the spicy ramen which was interesting but very tasty - not sure how I felt about soggy gyoza in it though. We also had fried rice and shrimp tempura at the table which was delightful, and definitely some better oil control in the fried rice than I've had at other places. Overall it was a great experience with attentive servers.

Best Japanese place I've found south of Nashville. Very reasonably priced with great lunch combos. The seating & entryway can feel a little crowded but not bad.

Very helpful server when I asked about getting did prepared gluten free. They were not as busy when we got there, but quickly became busy and it became very slow. Food was very tasty though.

Had a great lunch special! Soup was great, loved the salad and the platter was a lot of food! Entre chicken quantity was a little light but good flavor and all combined, I left very full, satisfied and had leftovers! Service was super!
