Absolutely blown away by Fighting Fish! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. The sushi is truly exceptional – incredibly fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. We tried a few different rolls and a sushi bowl, and each one was a flavor explosion. The service was top-notch; our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations. Scott's Addition is lucky to have this gem! If you're a sushi lover, or even if you're just looking for a fantastic dining experience, Fighting Fish is a must-try. 5 stars all the way!

Our food was delicious! We had The Fighting Fish tower and the monster roll. The sushi had a fresh taste. They took a little long to get our food out but other than that, definitely recommend it.

We ordered the lunch combo twice (Nigiri Lovers) which is probably the best Suschi deal in all of Richmond! It comes with either soup or seaweed salad (+$3). The fish was fresh and of high quality, we can highly recommend the salmon/avocado rolls and the shrimp rolls. The service was also very friendly!

As I write this food review, I want to first acknowledge that 9/10 when someone ask for me to do a review for their business, I usually use ChatGPT. If you’re an elder and unaware of what “ChatGPT” is, it is an artificial intelligence program that can generate anything you ask (pretty cool if you ask me). Anyway, let’s get to the point. No one asked me to do this food review but as I read through these food reviews, it has encouraged me to leave one of my own as I write this at 5AM. This place, the fighting fish, has the best sushi in the freaking world. You know, before my pallet developed , I didn’t really want to try sushi. Raw fish? Gross. I like everything fried. But this, this place right here took me back to childhood birth. The most beautiful thing a person can experience. The staff is freaking awesome and on top of that, when I ask for extra candy, they give it without hesitation. Man. You know the first time I went here and tried it, I went 5 more times that week, and two of those times being twice that same day. I was a little ashamed and embarrassed initially , so i just sent my friend to go pick it up for me so I could eat it in private. I hope this monologue helps you make the right decision when choosing where to go for sushi. Lastly, if anyone reads this from the fighting fish, I would be more than honored to meet the chef, as I have a few words for them. Thank you

Super nice place with excellent sushi, the vibe inside is quieter and upscale but the prices aren't too bad. The sushi itself is some of the best in the area and I highly recommend the nachos
