Best Pad Thai I have ever had! The Katsu was amazing too! We didn’t try the sushi but everyone else around us was getting it and said to be great. Would definitely come back.

This food is so good I forgot what a bad day felt like. I really enjoyed the flavors of everything literally 10/10 hole in the wall spot I'm never gate keeping this place so they never run out of business. The music is loud but my chewing is even louder so I didn't care. Service 100/100

We came at 8:45PM for a late 2-person dinner (they close at 10:30PM) and this place was packed! We actually opted to get takeout instead, which I’m glad we did since there were a lot of tables waiting for food and service while we waited for the takeout. There are 2 kiosks up front by the registers to place your takeout order. After selecting your dish, you can customize spice level and add/remove ingredients. I’m kind of glad we did takeout so I could customize my entree exactly how I wanted without the chance of wasted ingredients! We placed our order at 8:51PM and it was ready at 9:11PM, so around 20 minutes of waiting for 2 entrees and 2 drinks—which we think was great given how busy the restaurant was. I got the Drunken Noodles with chicken, no spicy, no bell pepper/tomato/bamboo shoots. They did great following my customizations but note that it was still a /little/ spicy, so be warned! It was delicious though and well worth the wait. Everything was cooked well and seasoned well. I would recommend the dish, especially if you’re a fan of Drunken Noodles. I also got the Thai Iced Tea, which was so well made. Not too bitter, not too sweet. I wish I could’ve gotten a second one! Overall, this place is super busy—and for good reason! ZumoThai is a must-visit for authentic and delicious Thai food in the downtown D.C. area. Highly recommend getting yourself a Thai Iced Tea along with whatever entree you prefer. If you’re eating in, note that it may get busy but it should be well worth the wait. If you’re taking out, know that the food will still be great even 20 minutes later!

What makes Thai food so special is the very fact that everything is fresh and prepared for the instant you’re going to consume and this place is great because it is no trouble for them to serve vegans compared to so many other Thai restaurants that cannot do it. All I wanted was a pineapple friend rice with veggies and when I said “vegan version” she knew straight away I didn’t want any oyster/fish sauce nor eggs. This is THE BEST pineapple friend rice I’ve had in a long time…

First time just stumbled in but soooooo glad we did! WOW! Green Curry and Tom Yum soup were so delicious. Green Curry was THE BEST I've had. Loved, loved the flavor with just right spiciness.
